African presidents president are given the highest security possible to enable them to carry out their duties locally and internationally. The presidents are protected by heavily armed motorcades, with bodyguards, presidential bulletproof vehicles and the like. Africa has some of the most closely guarded presidents, but some African rulers go above and beyond to ensure their safety.
